EASTER BLESSING BASKET

Easter is upon us once again.  This year has already been a tough start and i thought it would be a lovely, kind gesture to gather personal goodies whether it be the more traditional items which symbolise Easter such as paska (bread), kielbasa (ring sausage) which symbolises god's generosity and one that is arguably the most impressive is the Ukrainian Pysanky (hand painted eggs).

I thought it would be a kind, giving tradition to start amongst my whanau.  It could have items which represent you or your family, such as handmade jam or preserves, flowers fresh or dried, bread, cake or biscuits.  You could add personal touches which have a connection between yourself and for the person you are giving too.

Happy and safe Easter, be kind and caring towards one another and let's be grateful for our wonderful life here in Aotearoa.
